Dr Nickolas Grimes

Dr Nickolas Grimes is a highly trained podiatric surgeon who provides compassionate, patient-focused foot and ankle care. He treats a variety of pathologies, including minimally invasive surgical techniques, corrective and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, neuropathy, and sports medicine.

Dr. Grimes grew up in Newport Beach, California and completed his undergraduate education at UC Irvine where he received a degree in Neurobiology. His interest in nerve related pathologies including diabetic neuropathy and Charcot-Marie-Tooth, led him to pursue his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed an intensive surgical residency at the Kaiser San Francisco Bay Area Residency Program. Serving as the Chief Resident, he received comprehensive training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery guided by exceptionally qualified leaders in the field.

Throughout his career, he has published numerous research articles, held several leadership positions, and volunteered extensively to provide medical services to underserved communities throughout California.

Outside of medicine, He enjoys kayaking, hiking, painting, and spending time with his family and dog.
